When Covid-19 started we all seemed very concerned about it, but as the news started to focus in other subjects, and the country started to reopen, people seemed to forget about the big problem we are facing. As the cases increased, the fear decreased.
The social media world can help or hurt society, but in this case celebrities and influencers are using it to spread the word of WEARING MASKS. Not only celebrities are using their power to keep the country healthy. The State of California is turning to influential community leaders to help slow the spread of COVID-19 in California.
Though businesses are opening up, COVID-19 is still very serious. This past week, California had daily record highs of new COVID-19 cases throughout the State. That's why wearing a mask / face covering is a community health statement.
