Caitlyn Jenner Breaks Silence on O.J. Simpson's Passing

In response to the news of O.J. Simpson's death at 76 after a private battle with cancer, Caitlyn Jenner, who was once married to Kris Jenner, a close friend of the late Nicole Brown Simpson, shared her thoughts.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, on April 11, Caitlyn wrote, "Good Riddance." The connection between the Kardashians and the Simpson family dates back to the late '60s, when Robert Kardashian Sr. and O.J. Simpson became friends in college. O.J. even served as the best man at Robert's wedding to Kris Jenner in 1978. When O.J. was arrested for the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman in 1994, Robert was one of his ten defense attorneys.

At the time, Caitlyn, who was married to Kris, was a close friend of Nicole's. She openly expressed her belief in O.J.'s guilt and prohibited his name from being mentioned in their home during the 1995 trial.

In her memoir "The Secrets of My Life" and on the show "I'm a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here" in 2019, Caitlyn recounted the moment of the trial's verdict, where she asserted to her daughters that O.J.'s acquittal didn't mean he was innocent. She alleged in her memoir that Robert Kardashian Sr. knew O.J. was guilty but had joined his defense team to reconcile with Kris. Kim Kardashian West later recounted these allegations on "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," stating that Robert had privately confessed to Caitlyn his belief in O.J.'s guilt. However, Kim defended her father's support of O.J., emphasizing that he genuinely believed in his innocence.
