You should watch Shakira's new video to discover why it's creating such a buzz.
On Valentine's Day, the 46-year-old singer shared an Instagram video of herself cleaning while singing along to SZA's "Kill Bill."
In the song, she sings, "I might kill my ex, not the best idea. His new girlfriend's next, how'd I get here? I might kill my ex, I still love him though. Rather be in jail than alone. I did it all for love."
Some speculate that it could be a dig at her ex-partner Gerard Piqué, with whom she ended her 11-year relationship in June 2022. Two weeks ago, the retired soccer player, who shares two children with Shakira, went public with his girlfriend Clara Chia Marti on Instagram.
As a result, some of Shakira's supporters couldn't help but see the Grammy winner's post as a reference to her former partner. "We all go through our feelings after a breakup," one person wrote. "Stay strong and positive. You are better off." Another stated, "Queen, embrace those emotions! This too shall pass." A third added, "Piqué must be feeling uneasy now."
