Chrissy Teigen Donates $200,000 to Pay the Bail of George Floyd Protestors

Model Chrissy Teigen is donating $200,000 to bail out protesters against police brutality for the murder of George Floyd, after President Trump declared Saturday night “MAGA night” at the White House.

Chrissy shared on Twitter on Saturday that she would be donating $200,000 to help pay for protestors' bailouts. She first offered to donate $100,000 before she decided to double the amount.

"In celebration of whatever the f**k maga night is, I am committed to donating $100,000 to the bail outs of protestors across the country," Teigen tweeted, referencing the viral #MAGANight hashtag.

After, Teigen decided to donate an additional $100,000 after someone replied that the people were "rioters and criminals."

"Ooo they might need more money then. Make it $200,000," she replied.

Floyd, a black man living in Minnesota, died after a police officer held him down by the neck with his knee for more than seven minutes when he was arrested for suspicion of forgery outside a deli. Luckily, there is footage of this murder, which is 100% evidence of Floyd’s innocence.

Other celebrities have also started donating money for people's bailouts.
