Being dynamic implies that your skillset is highly applicable to a variety of complex subjects. Few minds are able to tackle the enormity of running multiple businesses, making it an anomaly when a business owner successfully thrives under pressure. With 39% of all U.S. businesses being owned by women, Maria Damian is the premiere example of multidisciplinary leadership. As CEO of: Legacy Enterainment and Legacy Dialysis, the mogul’s dual responsibilities merge between the Hollywood entertainment industry, into the hospital industry.
“I live everyday of my life with immense gratitude,” shared Maria Damian. Since surviving a near-death cancer diagnostic, the resilient powerforce puts her purpose first. “Surviving an illness puts you into perspective with what your message here on Earth is. Mine is to connect people to other people; you never know what destiny has written.” Speaking from her own experience, Maria recalls attending various concerts before making friends with the storied personnel running the shows.
Over time, through authentic friendship, Maria discovered an entire new element about herself. “I always knew I had a passion for serving others because of who my mother was. At Legacy Entertainment, I believe in every single one of my talents wholeheartedly.” Revealing that she only works with artists that she sincerely connects with, Maria takes pride in making the most grandiose dreams come true.
As the CEO of both Legacy Entertainment and Legacy Dialysis, Maria’s journey is one of both remarkable professional achievement and personal growth. Her leadership roles in these two distinct industries make her a unique role model, particularly for Filipino and Fil-Am individuals, showing that with determination and a clear sense of purpose, it is possible to balance seemingly contrasting careers while making a significant impact on the lives of others.
