Margot Robbie replicates Barbie look with $1M worth of necklaces

Last night, the LA premiere of the 'Barbie' movie took place and Margot Robbie dazzled in another Barbie-inspired outfit.

Wearing a black strapless Schiaparelli Haute Couture gown, Manolo Blahnik heels and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, the Australian actor was paying homage to the Solo in the Spotlight Barbie, which hit the shelves in the 1960s.

Leading diamond experts at UK retailer Steven Stone have taken a close look at Margot's necklaces, revealing everything you need to know - including how much they're likely to be worth.

  • Two of the necklaces are formed of round cut diamonds - the most popular diamond shape

  • The other two necklaces feature an array of different diamond cuts

  • The bottom necklace consists of halo cut diamonds in an assortment of cuts - including oval, marquise, heart, pear and emerald

  • Our experts estimate them to total $1 million

Maxwell Stone commented: "The Barbie press tour has seen Margot Robbie recreate one iconic Barbie look after another over the past couple of weeks, and her latest look is our favorite so far - paying homage to the Solo in the Spotlight Barbie, the Australian actor dazzled at the films LA premiere in a black strapless gown and four diamond necklaces.

Custom made by Lorraine Schwartz, the necklaces feature an array of different diamond cuts, with the top two pieces formed of purely round cut diamonds, which are the most popular diamond shape. The most interesting is the bottom necklace, which consists of halo cut diamonds in an assortment of cuts - including emerald, heart, pear, marquise and oval.

I'd estimate the necklaces to have a total value of around $1 million."
